Food Network’s Amanda Freitag and Jeff Mauro, and actress Hayden Panettiere, serve as judges, and in the first round, the young chefs must cook with a classic kid food and some unusual chips. In the entree round, there is a super-sour basket ingredient, and for dessert, a puny snack that might make them crabby!
Host: Ted Allen

Premiering Tuesday, January 12th at 8pm – “Candy Rock Bottom”

These junior chefs are here to prove their expertise level in the kitchen to some special judges: chefs Alex Guarnaschelli and Sharone Hakman, and Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman. When bugs in the final basket do not go over well, the young chefs must try to emphasize other mystery ingredients.
Host: Ted Allen

Premiering Tuesday, January 19th at 8pm – “Batter Hurry Up!

Four kids who starred in Rachael vs. Guy: Kids Cook-Off return to compete in the Chopped Junior kitchen and win over the judges: chefs Tiffany Derry and Amanda Freitag, and Cooking Channel host Tia Mowry. In the first round, they must face a leftover burger and sweet drink, and the entree round sees the junior chefs frantically trying to work cake batter into chicken dishes. In the final round, both kids decide to bake, but may run out of time!
Host: Ted Allen

Premiering Tuesday, January 26th at 8pm – “Cereal Miracles”

A new group of junior chefs brings their enthusiasm to the Chopped kitchen and seeks approval from the judges: model and designer Camila Alves and chefs Michelle Bernstein and Scott Conant. They find shellfish and a dried seafood snack in the appetizer basket, but tears come when one competitor hears “time’s up.” In the entree round, there is cereal and a beautiful cut of meat, but using a pre-baked cake inventively in dessert is a big challenge.

Worst Cooks in America – Premiering Sunday, January 3rd at 9pm
Worst Cooks in America is back with five-time winner chef Anne Burrell returning for a rematch against chef Tyler Florence in a new season! The seven-episode series pits Anne against Tyler, each leading a team of disastrous cooks in an intense kitchen boot camp designed to vastly improve the food skills of their recruits. The contestant who makes the most impressive culinary transformation is awarded a $25,000 grand prize, in addition to delivering victory and bragging rights for their team leader.

Premiering Sunday, January 3rd at 9pm – “Fear the Worst” – SEASON PREMIERE!

Tyler Florence returns to the kitchen to challenge Worst Cooks reigning champ Anne Burrell to a rematch. An open casting call attracts some of the worst cooks they have seen yet, and the chefs choose 14 recruits to train back at boot camp. The recruits make their “signature dishes,” and after an unsavory tasting, Anne and Tyler pick their teams. The chefs attempt to teach their recruits to make a well-balanced dinner, but two recruits are not up to the task and are sent home.

Premiering Sunday, January 10th at 9pm – “Getting Stuffed”

A Skill Drill tests the recruit’s food knowledge in a game show-style battle of “Family Food” and the teams go head-to-head in an effort to win steps for an incomplete recipe. When the game is over, the teams start cooking and clumsily attempt to fill in the blanks in their partial recipes. In the Main Dish Challenge, the teams stuff and prepare a delicate cut of meat and it comes down to the wire for the two recruits who don’t make the cut.

Premiering Sunday, January 17th at 9pm – “50 Shades of Flavor”

The teams learn all about flavor combinations by taste testing some unlikely pairings. In the Skill Drill to test their creativity, the recruits each must construct a unique ice cream sandwich. Two recruits fail to deliver on flavor, so Anne and Tyler say “adios” and send them home.

Premiering Sunday, January 24th at 9pm – “Taking it to the Streets”

Anne and Tyler give the recruits a hard lesson in multi-tasking and they must cook four eggs, each in a different style – leaving some of them scrambling for time and others cracking under the pressure. The kitchen gets even hotter when the Main Dish Challenge calls for the recruits to make four different Asian street food dishes. Two recruits can’t handle the heat, so Anne and Tyler say “sayonara” as they hit the road.

Premiering Sunday, January 31st at 9pm – “The Cod Squad”

The remaining recruits must use exotic proteins to grind out some unforgettable burgers. After serving their original sliders to Anne and Tyler, the competitors learn they must each filet a whole cod to make homemade fish and chips. Two recruits don’t make the cut and are sent home.
