Oasis


There is a popular restaurant built in 1982 called Oasis. It sits high above Lake Austin and is an institution as they say and calls itself the “Sunset Capital of Texas”. There are four terraces and in the summer it is packed with happy, sun loving people. I, however, went on a cold, chilly January day and had to sit inside. The menu is exactly the same as the last time I ate there years ago. I’ll have to visit in the Summer.

The entrance.. This was outside. I’m sure it’s busy in the summer. An old water tower. Nice interior. Quirky decor. They sell love locks in the guest shop there. Here is Lake Travis down below. The water level is down.
