Enrollment in California public schools declined by over 160,000 students amid the pandemic, new data show

Los Angeles County reported 443 new cases of COVID-19 and 16 additional deaths on Saturday, April 24, as health officials prepared to resume administration of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines after a pause due to concerns over rare instances of blood clots.
