Newsom’s Vaccine Plan Aims To Reopen California Classrooms

SAN FRANCISCO (AP/CBS13) — California Gov. Flim: a New AI-Powered Movie-Screenshot Search Engine

There was a time when cinephile shorthand consisted mostly of quotations from movies — from movies’ dialogue, to be precise. The distinction matters these days, now that the internet has enabled us to communicate just as easily with visual quotations as verbal ones. While some of us go the extra mile by manually combing through our film collections and taking the screenshots that best reflect our personal sentiments, most of us have long relied on the results, however approximate, served up by ...

"It's maddening to watch the liberals who insisted for months that we should 'follow the science' reject the overwhelming scientific evidence that schools can reopen safely."

"Conservatives have argued for years that liberals don't actually care about science and only pretend to when it's convenient for the advancement of their political agenda. It appears that they had a point." A commenter named Jadon writes, at by Nicholas Kristof (NYT). [Author: [email protected] (Ann Althouse)]

The Belgian painter René Magritte created some of the most enigmatic and iconic works in Surrealist art.
