Kandagawa Jet Girls Episode 9 Impression

On this episode, Rin and Misa encounters a depressed girl staring at the bridge. Later, they race against Fuka and Inori. At first, I thought I was going to see a random "yuri romance" scene from the depressed girl. But, fortunately, it was just some dramatic misunderstanding which is very hilarious. Also, the racing action between our main duo and the newly introduced racer duo is cool. Although, I find Fuka's personality to be cutely awkward. Other than that, there's more nice usual fan service...

The three-and-a-half minute clip shows London cruising through the streets of Crenshaw and Slauson, where Nipsey was raised and also tragically killed, all while reciting a poem written by Nipsey’s sist...

"How does it make you… feel?" UFO Distribution from France has unveiled the first international trailer for an indie psychological drama titled Swallow, from writer/director Carlo Mirabella-Davis. This premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and also stopped by Fantastic Fest and Fantasia, meaning it's more than just a straightforward drama - as this trailer hints. What’s funny? How comedians translate humor.

When you're trying to write something funny, it has to be an idea that first strikes you, personally, as funny. The reason for this is that, then, it's something you're genuinely amused by. When this is so, it's based on observation of an experience that others may relate to. The next step, after this, is to try to translate it for others to understand. Sometimes you can't reword it perfectly for others to appreciate because the words themselves carry different notes of meaning to you. Neverthel...

Extensive 10-Minute Featurette About Sam Mendes' War Movie '1917'

"It's like a piece of theater every take." Universal has released an extensive making of featurette for Sam Mendes' war movie 1917, arriving in theaters on Christmas Day this month. We previously posted a behind-the-scenes featurette and two trailers, but this one is pretty much a Special Features video that is now online anyway. Set during World War I in the year 1917, the movie takes place over the course of one day, following soldiers on a "seemingly impossible mission" to deliver a messa...

Official Trailer for Doc Film 'And Two If By Sea' About Surfer Brothers

"This is a classic tale of identity… It's going to be tough to tell them apart." 1091 Media has released their official US trailer for an indie documentary titled And Two If By Sea, which is a twist on the classic "Paul Revere's Ride" poem ("one, if by land, and two, if by sea"). The doc film is not really a sports doc, not really a family doc - perhaps a mix of both, and then some. It's about two brothers who happen to be professional surfers, CJ & Damien Hobgood, and their experiences in l...

"This is what was in the mine… It's a diabolical spirit." Searchlight has revealed the third & final official trailer for Antlers, the latest from director Scott Cooper (of Crazy Heart, Out of the Furnace, Black Mass, Hostiles). The first two trailers have been very creepy and very effective at introducing this monster horror story. Vamp or Not? The Kiss

This was a 1988 movie directed by Pen Densham and I was told about it by Leila who said “unearthed this in my vamp or not pile - see what you think. It's demon possession but there are some tropes here”. Intrigued I sought out the film, which some kind soul had uploaded to YouTube – though the quality was a bit low. The film is certainly an oddity, which unfortunately fails to pump up the tension as central character Amy (Meredith Salenger) has her life torn apart by an evil relative. However, ...

J-Boog Slams Fizz & Apryl Jones’ Relationship on “Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood” Reunion, Apryl Threatens to Expose Boog’s Secrets

J-Boog just made his Love & Hip-Hop reunion debut and let’s just say he fit right in. Though he mostly stayed out of the chaos while A1 Bentley, Lyrica, their mamas, and other cast members went at it, he didn’t hold back when it was time to discuss the hot-topic relationship between fellow B2K bandmate Fizz and Apryl Jones/other B2K bandmate’s baby mama. Boog repeatedly stated that he didn’t like getting in the middle of other people’s relationships, but he did admit that he would not like it if...

Garden Gnome

A gnome is in the garden busily destroying some bushes when a house cat appears. "What are you?" asks the cat. "A gnome," comes the reply. "I steal food from humans, I kill their plants, I make annoying music at night to drive them crazy, and I love mischief. And what, may I ask, are you?" The cat replies, "Um, I'm a gnome." Received from Thomas S. Ellsworth.
