Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle Episode 16 Impression

On this episode, the Arks fight Luther and escapes the ship. Later, the Arks experience the aftermath and resumes their missions. I find it very satisfying to finally see Luther getting defeated. Also, the action itself is awesome and along the aftermath scenes. Other than that, I can't wait to see more battles between Arks and the Dark Falz without Luther's interference. Now what's going to be the next plot? I'll be definitely looking forward to it. Overall, awesome Luther fight finale and nice...

Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia Episode 15 Impression

On this episode, Ana and Ritsuka's party finishes the fight against Gorgon. Later, they encounter the mysterious talking creatures of Tiamat. The battle between Ritsuka's party and Gorgon is awesome. But, there's sadly some casualties and a lot of dark twists just like other Fate series stories. Also, I find these mysterious creatures that are connected to Tiamat to be annoyingly creepy. Other than that, I hope our male lead and his allies can do something against those creatures. Now what's goi...

Billy Porter’s Magical, Motorized Hat Is The Meme We Need And Deserve

These memes breathed new life into me Last night marked the 62nd Grammy Awards and everyone in attendance was dressed to the nines, but we only need to talk about one person. Billy. Goddamn. Porter. Billy is a Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award-winning entertainer known for bringing the whole house down in FX’s Pose, Disney’s Hercules, Don Bluth’s Anastasia, and turning the hell out every single red carpet. The man has slayed every look from a full tuxedo ball gown to an entirely beaded gold ou...

SNL’s Season Premiere Had Kylo Ren Back For More Undercover Boss

YouTube screenshot After this episode, they NEED to bring Adam Driver back for round four This past weekend Saturday Night Live returned for season 46, and after bookending last season with Woody Harrelson and the highly anticipated return of prodigal son Eddie Murphy, (which received the highest rating of any episode in the last two-and-a-half years) the folks over at Studio 8H had set the bar pretty damn high for themselves. This season kicked off with Adam Driver who was back hosting ...

Two More Marvel TV Shows Cancelled

Unsurprisingly, the Disney/Fox acquisition continues to have fallout (as is expected when such big deals are done — since the money has to come from somewhere and finances and plans are often reexamined post-merger). Jeph Loeb used to be in charge of the Marvel Television division, but now Marvel movie honcho Kevin Feige has taken over. There were plans for four Marvel animated series to come to Hulu (also owned by Disney), but two have been cancelled according to the [...]

Resident Alien Trailer Plays Up Comedy

The Resident Alien TV series announced almost a year ago now has a trailer. While the show was described in terms of a “moral dilemma”, and I speculated it might resemble a procedural, this short video, as you might expect from a show starring Alan Tudyk, plays up the comedy. But then, they’re plugging “from the humans behind Family Guy and Wedding Crashers“, so yeah. The show is “coming this summer” on Syfy. It’s based on the comic book series [...]

Alex Toth Crime and Punishment v1 #66, 1954 - One of the few "deep dimension" issues within the series, Alex Toth makes full use of the effect within his own style. Like the interior stories, his cover uses layered halftone screens to make mostly faces and figures more dimensional. Toth captures the violence and brutality of a gang fight like few other artists can. Inside, all three of his [Author: Unknown]

Kobe Bryant Was Working on a Children’s Book When He Died. His Co-Author Just Deleted the Draft

(SAO PAULO) — Kobe Bryant and Brazilian writer Paulo Coelho were working together on a children’s book, but the author of “The Alchemist” said he deleted the draft after Bryant’s death in a helicopter crash. The 72-year-old novelist told The Associated Press on Monday that the two men started discussing the project in 2016, when Bryant retired after a 20-year NBA career. They began writing a few months ago. Within hours of hearing of Bryant’s death Sunday, Coelho announced that he would del...

‘Bad Boys II’ Remains Michael Bay’s Most Revealing (and Personal) Action Epic

The Bad Boys movies aren’t just Michael Bay movies—they are the definitive Michael Bay movies. The first installment marked Bay’s film debut, which he now thinks looks like an indie compared to his subsequent work, and the sequel was the movie that showcased Michael Bay in all his most creative and insipid ways. The sequel showed Bay’s true self as an artist, the full id of his sensibilities. Through the beloved and scolded sequel’s aesthetic, its sense of humor, and its utter disregard for bot...

‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ Clip: James Marsden is Being a Really Good Sport About All This

One would have thought that after starring in the Easter-themed family comedy Hop, James Marsden would be done acting opposite entirely computer generated characters. But maybe the paycheck for a big blockbuster family film is just too good to pass up nowadays, because he’s back starring in Sonic the Hedgehog and a silly new clip has just debuted. Thankfully, this isn’t as horrifying as it could have been thanks to the character redesign that pushed the movie back from November last year…but it...

‘Deputy’ Executive Producer David Ayer on Los Angeles, Crime, and Style [Interview]

David Ayer does not make light movies. Ayer’s name is most known to mainstream audiences for Suicide Squad and Bright, but his filmography is mostly hard-hitting crime thrillers. Harsh Times, Street Kings, and End of Watch – they’re Los Angeles crime movies with plenty of brutality, believability, and attention to detail. They feel legitimate, perhaps partly because Ayer is a longtime resident of Los Angeles, having moved to South Central in the ’80s. This year, there are two more projects from...

On April 13th of 2016, the Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant stepped to the free-throw line in the Staples Center.
