Darwin's Game Episode 5 Impression

On this episode, Kaname's new team makes a defense plan against the Wang's Eighth Clan. Meanwhile, Shuka attempts to rendezvous with the team and encounters a new threat. It's great to see Kaname fully form his team and make defense plans with them. Also, I find it a bit unfortunate that Shuka encounters a new threat and needs to be rescued. Other than that, they revealed some deeper t event objectives which is quite interesting. Now what's going to happen next? I'll be definitely looking forwar...

Oscars: Does a film’s genre affect its chances of winning?

With the 92nd Academy Awards on Feb. 9, 2020, we look at how popular film genres have changed over generations. What’s a genre? The word is French and means type or category. There is no scientific method of assigning a film to genres, which began as a way filmmakers could easily cast and market their movies. Genre refers to recurring, repeating and recognizable patterns including subject matter, characters or settings. In the silent film era, many movies began to fall into categories such as We...

‘Chucky’ TV Series Will Bring Back Jennifer Tilly, So We Can All Relax Now

It’s been a rough few weeks, so how about some good news? Let’s all take a deep breath and bask in the knowledge that Jennifer Tilly is returning to the Child’s Play franchise for the Chucky TV series. Tilly played Chucky’s girlfriend Tiffany (and also a fictionalized version of herself) in the Child’s Play movies starting with 1998’s Bride of Chucky. The Chucky/Child’s Play franchise is a blast. While not every film in the series can be classified as good, I’d argue that all of them are wat...

Elvis Biopic From Baz Luhrmann Adds Maggie Gyllenhaal as the King’s Mom

Maggie Gyllenhaal is about to give birth to the King of Rock and Roll. Gyllenhaal has been cast as Gladys Presley, AKA the mother of Elvis, in Baz Luhrmann‘s musical biopic Elvis. The real Elvis was very close with his mother, which means Gyllenhaal is likely to have a somewhat substantial role, and not just show up for a scene or two at the beginning of the movie only to then vanish. Austin Butler is playing Elvis, while Tom Hanks is set to play the King’s legendary manager, Colonel Tom Parker...
