How to let websites identify kobo browser as "mobile" instead of "PC"?

eg, when i open inoreader.com with the build-in browser, it only shows a PC version of the webpage, no matter how i zoom in/out it. And sadly the url of both the mobile and pc version of inoreader.com are indentical. So, are there any ways to change the UA of the browser, so the servers would identify it as a mobile phone?

Spyderco’s Mantra 3 – In Case You Are Looking For A New EDC knife

Spyderco's Mantra 3 U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- At SHOT Show 2019, Spyderco had a few new models on display. One of them that caught my eye was a Spyderco Mantra 3. My first thought was a carbon fiber Delica model, but it is really so much more under inspection. Spyderco Mantra 3 The Mantra Model may be a few years old, but this model featured a carbon fiber/G-10 laminate material as handle scales instead of titanium, which makes for a lightweight and attractive pocket knife. Particularly if yo...

Has anybody else tried eBoox?

So far I'm loving eBoox new app. So clean and fresh. Things transfer over quickly and you can have the option of scrolling instead of the usual option. Nice change from the Kobo app which I found clunky and awkward.

Washington lawmakers mapping strategy to reduce Concealed Carry

Concealed carry U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- Against the backdrop of a push for gun control by Democrats on Capitol Hill, Democrats in the Washington's state Legislature are pushing a pair of bills, one in the Senate and its companion in the House, that amount to a guide for anti-gun state lawmakers anywhere to reduce the number of concealed carry licenses or permits by discouraging applications and renewals via extremist requirements. Joe Waldron Joe Waldron, former executive director of the...

Use the Now-Discontinued Microsoft Band? Claim up to $175

Josh Henderickson Microsoft stopped making fitness band products years ago, but it continued to support existing users. Now, that support is ending as Microsoft shuts down its online Dashboard and apps. But there’s a silver lining—refunds of up to $175 for active users. If you thought the Microsoft Band was already dead, that’s more than understandable. Microsoft stopped making the fitness products and removed all traces of it from the Microsoft Store in 2016. But for existing users, the s...

Marlin 1894 Rifle Lever-Gun Makeover, The Perfect Brush Gun – VIDEO

Rev talks about a reviving the life of a classic Marlin 1894 rifle in this lever-gun makeover project. Could this be the perfect brush gun? Marlin 1894 Rifle Lever-Gun Makeover USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- This past December found me carrying an M1-A through the woods in search of furry critters. Though I grew up hunting, I couldn’t in good conscience call myself a hunter presently. How to show books with only 1 tag? Dynamic tag or virtual library?

I have a tag to classify all the non-fiction books; I also have additional tags to classify history, politics, science, IT etc, so a book can be tagged as "non-fiction; history", for example. Is there a way to show the books which have only the tag "non-fiction"? This would exclude those which have 'non-fiction' and some other tag. The easiest way would of course be to add a second tag called "other", but I was wondering if there's a smart way to do it with virtual libraries or if there is som...

The Fine Details

It’s astonishing how much time passes as I examine and admire the fine details of tree twigs. In the winter, a bare tree is just a bare tree from a distance, but upon closer inspection, it is incredible how much a twig can tell you. The beautiful yet unusual physiology of each bud — the color, shape, size and composition — tells us a story about each plant and gives us a look at what will come in the spring. All trees follow similar patterns, but the expression can be very different. Each sp...

Louis Poulsen Releases Silver Version of Popular Patera Pendant

It’s been almost four years since Louis Poulsen released its Patera pendant, a modern take on the chandelier. Now, the Danish lighting manufacturer has added a new silver foil version designed by Øivind Slaatto to its lighting collection. The update is a step away from minimalism, adding reflective properties to the pendant that catches the eye whether or not it’s illuminated. Similar to its white counterpart, it’s available in three diameters: 450 mm, 600 mm, and 900 mm. Patera is equipped to ...

Epub3 seems to be much closer

Recently I downloaded the last update of the PocketBook app for Android. This new release now has two rendering engines: RMSDK (for epub2) and Webkit (for epub3). The engine to be used is auto-selected by the app, but the user also can chosse what to use to read an epub (so it's perfectly possible to use webkit to read epub2 ebooks and sometimes is better). I was testing the epub3 support and I must say that is impressive (like Sigil or a bit better because it has hyphens and Sigil not); practic...
