DIY Giant Epoxy Resin Handle Screwdriver

This epic Giant Epoxy Resin Handle Screwdriver “making of” video is really something to behold. Jackman Works has outdone himself. He explains the inspiration behind this truly painstaking process to make a gigantic replica of the beloved, partly transparent screwdriver everyone and their parents grew up with below. Everyone seems to remember the classic Craftsman screwdriver, it's an icon filled with nostalgia. This is something my father had in his toolbox and so did his father, so I want...

Lunar Kitsune Mini Journal

Hey guys, now that my home is being remodeled, I ‘be had to put most of my craft supplies in a box in the garage... in other words, it’s pretty boring right now, and I feel the need to craft run deep in me to a point where I’ve been trying to craft without my supplises. Finally I came across mini comp notebooks at my job, I remembered how I had seen a YouTube video on how to make a cute journal vs buying one, and that’s when inspiration hit! I bought 3 of them and rushed home to get to work. T...

Should You Blur Out Serial Numbers In Gun Photos?

Yes, that’s a photo of my own Surefire FA556AR silencer and the serial number is P01239. No, I’m not particularly concerned about posting it. There are a lot of odd and mistaken beliefs that get repeated in gun circles. Like the idea that racking a shotgun will scare intruders away. Or that using a scary […] Read More … The post Should You Blur Out Serial Numbers In Gun Photos? appeared first on The Firearm Blog.

Diamondback Firearms AM2 Compact Pistol – Video Review

@Maddy_AR of GBGuns with Diamondback AM2. Photo by Graham Baates U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- Diamondback Firearms withdrew the FS9 full-sized gun a couple of years ago to the dismay of its fans.  Although the FS9 offered a 4.75″ barrel and incredible ergonomics it just wasn't warmly received at a time when single-stack carry guns were all the rage.  We were told something was coming to replace it, but neither what nor when. The American-made AM2 hits the sweet spot with a 3.5″ barrel and 12+1 or...

U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- While Washington State lawmakers have approved funding for a “bump stock buyback” at $150 apiece, gun owners in neighboring Oregon are already bracing for a fight next year when anti-gunners will push a measure aimed at banning “a variety of semi-automatic firearms,” as reported by KATU in Portland. In the Evergreen State—which ne...

20th Century Living Books

Our family is studying the 20th Century this year for our modern history stream, and finding modern living books has been hard! Well…harder than finding books for preceding time periods. Not to worry, I have risen to the challenge with my obsessive ways. Good thing I LOVE thrift shopping, locally and online. A little too much perhaps…  […]

Goldwater a cautionary tale for Second Amendment Supporters

Barry Goldwater with Lyndon Baines Johnson. Second Amendment supporters must learn from Goldwater's mistakes in the 1964 election. (White House photo) Arizona/United States – -(AmmoLand.com)- In 1968, Second Amendment supporters nearly found themselves in a deep hole. By a slim margin, they were able to keep a licensing and registration scheme that Johnson wanted out of the Gun Control Act of 1968. This greatly angered Lyndon Johnson, who denounced the “gun lobby” for the omission of the mean...

Herringbone Dog

I am imagining that this hound dog is a detective in a cozy British mystery- just the kind I like to read. I struggled to get the hat just right- I was aiming for a bowler but this hat is less formal I’d say. He has his pipe, his wool jacket, and a velveteen waistcoat/vest. A very kind person recently sent me a great collection of perfect size buttons and I am having great fun using some of them. And his hat-

To much of the world a date written as '3/8/2019' refers to the '3rd of August 2019', I suggest using 'Mar 8 2019' to remove ambiguity, or 'Aug 3 2019' if that's what you mean. BR
