Mystery and Crime Wells, Carolyn: The Beautiful Derelict (1935), v1; 17 March 2019

A Fleming Stone case. When a derelict yacht is discovered with two dead bodies aboard, Fleming Stone is drawn into the case. There is a wealthy family, two scapegrace sons who travelled in the far east years before, and suprises from the past. And then there's another death: murder in a locked room. (There are, I believe, 71 Fleming Stone novels!) Attached Files The Beautiful Derelict - Carolyn Wells.epub (374.9 KB)

After last update instead of "previous location", now its "home" and obviously it takes me to the je home page witch is annoying. Any way to fix this?

Pleasings...in a week when I think we'll need them.

Thank you for all those wonderful comments on my last scribble and doesn't the world work in such mysterious ways...that I had written and pre-scheduled those thoughts on Skybound and South Island on the very day that the world's heart and mind was taken there as of one, in solidarity with New Zealand and Christchurch. My feeling and real hope, and I have to be optimistic in the face of such carnage, is that perhaps this might just be a turning point. Jacinda Ardern, the New Zealand Prime Minist...

How do I properly backup/restore notes?

I have a note which is backed up on Dropbox but I can’t figure out how to bring it back into the Notes app. Is it not possible? This note I don’t care too much about if I can’t get it back but going forward I do want to make sure I do things properly. What is the correct / safest way to backup notes from the Notes app so that they can be restored back to the Notes app if I have to reset the Boox at somepoint?

Batch importing doesn't import titles correctly

I'm importing several hundred books from kindle. I have the directory on my mac where the kindle files are saved, and I've tested it on one book, using Add books > Add books from a single directory. It works as expected. When I do Add books > Add books from directories, including sub-directories (one book per directory), Calibre finds all the books, but when they import the Title field is the nonsensical filename for the AZW files instead of the title from the metadata. All the other metadata f...

Hello Everyone

Hi everyone! I've found a lot of great advice on managing my devices from searching the forums here and thought it was time I created an account to join some of the discussions and help others if I can, so here I am. I've been a Linux enthusiast for years and I've recently changed my primary e-reader device from a Nook Glowlight Plus to the Kobo Forma and I'm loving it!!! (The device and Kobo in general compared to the Nooks I've had.)

Regex: grabbing tag group

Need help with my regex expression to search (\w.+) and replace it with \1 It was working and caught several of the sections I'm after, but stopped working on the rest. An example it failed on is the blurb below, which looks identical to first few (to me). I'm after the content "3. Escape". Complete blurb I'm looking at: Quote: 3. "Entity 'nbsp' not defined" error

Hello, I got this error while importing an html file into Sigil: "Entity 'nbsp' not defined". The error was triggered by this line of code:  . It's no big deal to fix the code so it will import without the error, but the way Sigil treated the error seemed kind of goofy, so I did a little investigating. I found that a particular "toolbars" string in sigil.ini was the proximate cause of the error. Will someone kindly look at what I did and try to reproduce it? I think most people will not,...

Calibre to KyBook 3 syncing working

I've finally got around to syncing Calibre to KyBook 3. Books, covers and metadata are synced to KyBook 3 and books only in KyBook 3 are downloaded. (Somewhat like Calibre Companion, but with the ability to actually read the book in the app it syncs to.) I'm happy to share if anyone is interested. I'd be particularly keen to hear from anyone interested in tweaking it to run as a plugin to Calibre.
