Why Cory Booker Sucks When it Comes to Gun Rights

Cory A. Booker New Jersey/United States – -(AmmoLand.com)- One of the Democrats running for president and getting a lot of air time is Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey. Booker had a bit of a star turn before he even reached the Senate due to the documentary Street Fight, featuring his effort to defeat a political machine in Newark. But where has Booker stood on our Second Amendment rights? The answer: He’s bad on them – willing to back arbitrary bans on modern multi-purpose semi-automatic fi...

The Gentle Art of Tramping ~ Stephen Graham

'The adventure is not the getting there, it is the on-the-way. It is not the expected; it is the surprise; not the fulfilment of prophecy but the providence of something better than prophesied.' Sometimes a book arrives and I can barely contain the excitement, and even though I had read The Gentle Art of Tramping by Stephen Graham in a proof copy I was still delighted when this arrived... A brown paper package tied up with string á la Sound of Music, to reveal... The book and some Ken...

Talking about Radicalized with the CBC: Privilege, atavism, techno-realism and seizing the means of information

The CBC's Ryan B Patrick interviewed me about my latest sf book, Radicalized and how the four novellas in it relate to struggles for liberation, racial justice, technological self-determination, inequality and a sustainable climate plan. Some of the stories in Radicalized are darker than the ones I've written in the past decade, reflecting my own anxiety (I call this my "Trump derangement syndrome book," and the stories were written to master my own concerns as the darkest timeline has only...

Questions regarding Kindle Voyage

I bought a Kindle Voyage in 2017 because my old PW (with jailbreak) started to act erratically. It seems its flash memory (?) got some dementia, so I am stuck with the Voyage now. The firmware is 5.8.7.0.1, it has never been updated or registered, no jailbreak. I upload books via PC/USB and calibre. While handling is ok I am missing one thing very much but do not know if I am simply a doofus, if the Kindle is not able to offer it or if the PW was only able to do it because there was a jailbre...

7.8 vs 10.3

Hello everyone, a question for those who owned both 7.8 inch and 10.3 inch readers. How are they for everyday reading? Are 7.8 too small? Or perhaps 10.3 was too big? Was 10.3 worth double the price? Your thoughts.

New ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Book Goes Behind the Scenes of the Movie with Industrial Light & Magic

Hopefully, one day, we’ll get the extensive story about the drama that unfolded behind the scenes of Solo: A Star Wars Story, which led to directing duo Phil Lord & Chris Miller leaving the project and getting replaced by Ron Howard. But until then, we’ll have to settle for a close look at the making of the movie through more official channels by way of a new book from Industrial Light & Magic. The Surprising Link Between Cooperation and Individuality

The gunman in the massacre at the mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand on March 15 showed no mercy to the 50 unarmed people, including young children, who he killed in part because he did not see them as fully human. Goodreader difficulties

I bought it because so many people said it was great. So far the user manual is no help. Anyone know how to set the tap zones? The user manual says it is possible, but doesn't help me find the setting. Do I have to pay another 5.99 to get the pro version just for the tap zones?
