I have poor vision, need 10 inch high contrast reader

Hello, because of my poor vision I need a high contrast screen at least 10 inches. I do not care if it is back lighted as I'd have the light off so as to reduce damaging the one and only eye that I now use. Clear black text a must. What would you recommen

Now do it with one hand behind your back!

Remember this when people talk about how important those tests are.We had a customer who frequented the shops I worked at in Tennessee who had passed his HCP shooting qual and he was blind. And by "blind", I don't mean that he couldn't see so well without his glasses, I mean dog-and-cane blind. But you know what? He's got civil rights just like someone with 20/20 vision. . [Author: Tam]

NRA’s Future: Only Two Options, Can the BOD Save Us?

Opinion By Jeff Knox NRA's Future: Only Two Options, Can the BOD Save Us? USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- The National Rifle Association is in serious trouble, and the NRA Board of Directors has only two options to save America's biggest civil rights organization. Option 1. A majority of the Board circles the wagons in defense of Wayne LaPierre and his pals and tries to weather the storm. (They’ll fail, and the whole ship will sink.) or Option 2. A majority of the Board fires LaPierre and other e...

When transferring to device-“Sample” tag

When I export new books to my kindle, either by email or direct transfer via USB, it will show up as a sample on the kindle. Sometimes the whole book is there, sometimes just the first 1-2 chapters. When the whole book is there, when you get to the end it will take me to the book purchase option within the kindle. When I view the books in Calibre book viewer the entire book is present. All books are either original MOBI format or ePub that has been converted to MOBI. Any idea why they keep sho...

New line automatically adds nbsp; in book view.

I've noticed this issue in the last few versions of Sigil (9.12 and 9.13). In book view, pressing enter to split a paragraph into two will automatically add a space (nbsp;) to the start of the second line. for example: Code: Hello world to Code: Helloworld to Code: Hello world instead gives Code: Hello  world in code: Code: Hello  world Searching this forum has only given me issues people have had with nbsp;s [intentionally] being used in...

Discreet Concealment Errors

Opinion Discreet Concealment Errors Ft Collins, CO –-(Ammoland.com)- Carrying pistols concealed in public as you go about your daily business is serious business. A careless moment that inadvertently exposes an otherwise concealed pistol may garner the unwanted attention of a nearby criminal who is eager to wrest the gun from you forcibly, or the attention of a snoopy bystander who is keen to report you to the police. Happy outcomes are unlikely, either way. Last week in MD, a fifty-ish man ...

How Can Second Amendment Supporters Reshape the Landscape?

Map Updated for 2018 United States of America – –-(Ammoland.com)- When the NRA is forced into damage limitation mode – as was the case in 1968 with the Gun Control Act (where it successfully stopped licensing and registration) – much of the reasons for being in that position is the political landscape. In 1968, the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy had created a massive push for something to be done on guns. Well, in that case, Lyndon Baines Johnson wanted to make...

Opinion by Adam Kraut NRA Danger USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- Over the past few months news of impropriety, questionable business dealings, lack of transparency regarding the inner workings of the NRA, and outrageous compensation have emerged. Ouch: The entire U.S. military could not disarm 17,000 illiterate fanatics in Afghanistan, which has the square miles of one state, but Eric Swalwell is going to disarm tens of millions of wealthy, educated people who can now make guns with a click of a mouse. 9 NOW Ideas: Pretzel Recipes to Try

Pretzels have been one of my favorite snacks since I was a little kid, and National Pretzel Day is April 26th, so I’m ready to celebrate in a big way with these 9 pretzel recipes. I love all different kinds of pretzels. Pretzel thins with a little hummus, munching on mini pretzels on road trips, and a big soft pretzel from the mall. Nothing beats soft pretzels while you’re walking around the mall. Why are they so good? Cinnamon and sugar is my favorite but I love a good salty one too. I searche...
