Like Selecting a different file manager for "Open Path"November 1, 2020 at 6:01 PM I don't like Windows Explorer. I use a different file manager instead. Trying to set it as a default file manager caused various issues with other programs that were sadly non-resolvable. Replacing those programs also wasn't viable. So back to Windows Explorer it is.
Calibre itself worked fine with a non-default file manager though. Is there any way to tell it specifically to use my own file manager instead of Windows Explorer when opening a path?

Like Another viewer problem, this time with AZW3November 1, 2020 at 2:07 PM Hi all, I was having issues w/ an EPUB book last week, and it turns out that Calibre doesn't support fixed layout EPUB's.
I'm now having what seems like a similar issue with an AZW3 bought on Amazon. I de-drm'ed it. It loads fine in the Kindle app, but when I read it in Calibre viewer, formatting is a mess. Is this some kind of unspported AZW3? And any way to convert it to something usable?Tags: Amazon, Books, Viewer 33 people like this. On a picnic in Southwest France with Alice B. Toklas and company in tow, overlooking a spectacular vista and the house where Maurice Ravel had lived, James Beard observed that Toklas insisted on sitting with her back to the scenery. “I never face the view,” she tells him. “It takes my mind off eating.”
James Beard constantly fixed his mind on food, its accoutrements, and above all the sensuous pleasures of eating. The latter formed the leitmotif of his life.
