I am an owner of a new Boox Note Air. While I think it is a really neat device, I don't particularly want to make all of my notes and scribbles available to the Onyx people. I would however like to have a way to back them up. I know that I can save them as PDF's, but I would like to save in a format that I could load back into the Note editor. I am tired of wasting time on authors I don't enjoy, and/or don't learn from, depending on the genre.
I have a really hard time judging books by their samples, or sometimes their whole 1st halves.
On one hand, I bought Elizabeth Moon's *Sheepfarmer's Daughter* by mistake. I was partway into it, let it sit for several months, and then returned and enjoyed it.

A book has been posted online for free reading. It is called You Are Here, available on pubpub.org
They allow each separate chapter to be downloaded in a variety of formats, including docx, html, and epub.
I want to take the several chapters (with quite unhelpful file names!) and turn them into a single book.

It would probably be unwieldy to use one as an ereader, turning each page via a phone. But maybe that could be fixed?
The screens run in a multitude of sizes. However, if I go to one of the results, then tap on "all results" so can look at the results list again, it's blank. I think this started happening after the last firmware update. Is this happening on anyone else's Kobo?

The initial issue is my mobi book is only showing in 2/3 of the screen, I cannot find way to make it full screen.
I would like to know if I should update it to firmware to 3.4.2, or install KOreader or Duokan, hoping one of them would enhance the performance and reading experience with the DXG.
My main objective is reading manga and graphic books.
