TFB DEBATE CLUB: Striker-Fired Pistols Vs Hammer-Fired Pistols

Welcome to the TFB Debate Club, where two writers climb into their spider holes and trade volleys on two sides of a hot topic. Last time we met Nick and I sparred off on shooting suppressed versus shooting unsuppressed – I argued against silencer use, a painful dissenting opinion for me. This week Adam and Matt […] Read More … The post TFB DEBATE CLUB: Striker-Fired Pistols Vs Hammer-Fired Pistols appeared first on The Firearm Blog.

From Greenville, SC USA

Hello Everybody, I'm an avid reader and devour books. I predominately use the Kindle app for the Kindle Unlimited subscription on a dirt cheap RCA 11.5 in tablet (under $100 on Ebay). Preferred genre: Sci-Fi Secondary genres: Python Programming, History, Cultures, Biographies, Travel and Science  Note: I have no interest in Fantasy. Sounds weird since Sci-Fi and Fantasy are often shown as a single genre and people love it. I just never developed an interest. That's all. Nothing perso...

Sitting Out Helps Those Who Would Steal Your Rights

Georgia US Senate Race iStock-Ivan Burchak 1272194764.jpg Georgia – -(AmmoLand.com)- There has been some sentiment online about sitting out the Georgia runoffs because of what has been going on the last few weeks. Right now, though, the only people who will gain from such an action are those who would punish you for crimes and acts of madness you didn’t commit by stealing your rights. Right now, our best shot to keep our rights safe is to vote to re-elect Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loef...

How to delete a specific image (ad) and external links on a selection of epubs

I have some epubs with the same ad on several pages. I'd like to get rid of them by selecting multiple books and indicating the file name to delete. Once files deleting, I'd like to have an automatic repair task to clean the dead links to the image. At the same time, external links (twitter...) could be also deleted. today, I can do it manually, book after book and it's very slow : 1) book selection 2) edit book 3) report 4) image selection 5) image deletion 6) check and repair Is there...

Dictionary that has sound

Is there an app or a eReader that has a built in dictionary that says the word? My niece is very behind for her age, and we're working on it, but she enjoys reading books that are at her level but there's a lot of words she doesn't know (she's 10). Just the dictionary doesn't help much as she's pretty far behind. Is there one that speaks the word in English? She either has to skip the word or ask and it's too often to ask, especially since the kids love to read in bed at night. My son could ben...

KT2 override diags_kernel and erased emmc, what to do next?

TL,DR. Device is KT2. Trying to make it a smart screen to display weather or todo list. I think I need to use wifi, python and eips command. Tried to jailbreak it, but made some mistakes, emmc has been erased. Tried to downgrade it with 5.8.7 and succeeded. But still cannot do bootm 0xE41000. Then erased it again and re-install, but failed because of replacing diags_kernel with uImage by mistake. Unrealistic Expectations

Both sides are absolutely willing to shoot a hole in the raft to get the other side wet.— Tamara K. (@TamSlick) December 14, 2020 Both sides have unrealistic expectations about how a Sec 230 repeal would hurt their foes while miraculously leaving them unscathed.  This article predates the latest shouting match by a year, but it's no less true.  I predict some of the first victims of a Sec. 230 repeal would be free blogging services. I mean, Blogspot is already Google's vermiform appendix ...
