Jumping to items in book list without activating keyboard shortcuts

When the book list is in focus, typing in a key not associated with any actions will act similarly to Windows Explorer in that it'll jump to items beginning with that letter. Is there any way to do this for letters that are associated with a hotkey, aside from adding modifier keys to them all?

Hi guys! After months of reading and learning in the forums, I finally replaced my trusty ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 for a Kindle Paperwhite 2018, my eyes are so happy! Now I'm learning how to use Calibre to convert my PDF books to MOBI and handle collections in the Kindle. Next, I will jailbreak and install KOReader, the reflow with the built-in K2pdfopt seems very handy. Thank you for all the information available free.
