Libra: Best way to load 100 books from SD card?

Ok,now here is the problem. I have about 100 3rd party (non protected) books, mainly EPUBS, few pdfs on an SD card from my Kobo Glo. How the heck do I add them to my Libra? I know I can Drag & Drop them in a batch by having the SD card in my PC and connecting Libra to PC. But is there a better way, or is that just as good? If I drag & drop will the Libra still report my reading progress, book covers etc..? I mainly have the different novel series in different folders on the SD card, then...

PDFs Surprise surprise, in Landscape my chess PDF book is completely readable ! even the small chess diagrams are clear. I do find the text in the PDF a little light in places. Nothing is too small. Cloud connection to Calibre Library on LAN server?

Is it possible to use the Cloud Connection option to connect to a Calibre Library on a PC on my local network? I can access files and folders on the network PC via Total Commander, but can't work out how to do this in Cloud Connection. Presumably it might be possible using the LocalLibrary option, but how? Attempting to connect gives me the dialog shown in the attachment, but I cannot change the text field (e.g. to ///LAN/MyPC/Calibre_Library) and clicking UP/BACK has no effect. ...

Kobo considered separate device after factory reset

My Kobo Aura HD started locking up and being glitchy after installing the new firmware a few days ago (thinking maybe the installation went wrong) and after a few attempts at fixing it I decided to do a factory reset. It worked! However, I notice that even though the device has the same serial number, Calibre seems to consider it a new device. I had to re-add it to Reading List and Kobo Utilities. Why does this happen? :thanks:

The Elements Collection from Populous and SIXINCH

From SIXINCH and Populous comes Elements, a modular furniture collection that takes inspiration from the ineffable qualities of chemical bonds. Similar to those hieroglyph-like symbols that populate the periodic table, Elements’ modular pieces come together in a mysterious way—seeming to join seamlessly yet also exhibiting interesting demarcations. SIXINCH puts it thusly: “the rounded shapes intentionally do not fit together perfectly, instead creating small shadow lines that d...

Below The Radar – HR 1004 Require Liability Insurance Coverage to Purchase Firearms

Second Amendment Activist Protest Activism Take Action Washington DC – -(AmmoLand.com)- When we discussed financial de-platforming, we noted that for the firearms industry – in fact, even for those who want to buy firearms – access to financial services, including banking is a must. If access to those services are denied, say through a re-started Operation Choke Point, then the Second Amendment becomes a dead letter. But now, Representative Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) wants to require people to sh...

[EInk Browser v8.0] A new browser app for E-Ink devices

As an E-Ink device lover, I bought many E-Ink devices, and use them mainly for reading ebooks, chatting, note taking, and internet surfing. Most E-Ink devices work great for book reading and note taking; however, for using them as a tablet or phone, there's still a long way to go. One of the insufficient part for me is the experience of browsing the web. I haven't found a suitable browser yet for E-Ink devices. So, I decided to customize one from an Open Source project I found on Github (it's ca...
