Option to switch metadata window's Star rating menu to decimal values

With all the excellent version updates to Calibre over the years, it is ponderous why the 'Rating' drop-down menu in the Metadata window is still using only a broad inaccurate 'Five Star' visual representation. Is there a plugin that can provide the ability to replace (or switch) that drop-down menu with a scrolling 3 digit decimal (i.e.→ 4.27) list like Goodreads uses, or can Kovid or someone consider including this feature in a future version? I know Forma has Dropbox, and there's a hack to sync with Google Drive (though I'm afraid I can't wrap my head around that one - unless there's a guide for dummies...) But, never thought to ask, are you able to wifi sync to your computer, to a book folder on your computer? Or, send books wirelessly from your computer (chromebook) to your eReader? :help: Randomly when shutting down, my Kobo decided to do a software update. When it finished, there were no books, not even the ones that were preinstalled. I did some googling, and to fix it I need an image file to fix it. Basic Firmware/Software Question(s)

Just two quesitons : 1. Does Kobo have yet a control to adjust the "contrast" of book text (and/or pictures, like in pdf) like found in the Likebooks? 2. Is there any way when viewing PDFs, and you stretch to fit width so you get more and larger text, for when you Turn the Page the positioning of the PDF remains? Right now it always jumps down an inch and to the right, and cuts off text (so you have to pull it back over and up). Is there a fix for this besides installing KOReader? or is thi...

Sell Kobo Aura H2O + Case -- But with Battery Problem

Kobo Aura H20 with the magnetic cover case thing, purchased from another user in this forum. Worked great for a year or two, but now it decides to turn off after 5-10 minutes running on battery. I tried resetting it (and reinstalling KOReader) but it must be a hardware issue. It works fine when plugged in. One scuff on the screen, but has no effect on reading. Hi all. I'm hoping you can help me out. I recently bought an used Kobo Aura. Was unable to check if it's working as the battery was down. First issue was inability to connect to my home broadband. After entering the password it freezes. Thought I will connect to my PC and install kobo app. The registration went well but it still keeps freezing and wouldn't start. Do "Most" Ares Drain Battery Fast ? (and Mars?)

On widescreen monitors, sometimes there are too many words per line to read if you have the Viewer maximised. Changing the page layout/margins based on pixels can limit the words per line in a correct manner only if the window is not resized and the font size stays the same.
