I know K4Mac doesn't show personal documents and ALL the books on my Kindle Voyage are emailed as personal docs.
However, I googled some old tip about possibly using Amazon drive as a hack.
Except (of fvcking course Amazon!) K4Mac creates its own "My Kindle content" folder in whatever folder I point it at instead of using the empty root folder or Amazon drive's "My Send-to-Kindle Docs".

Like Embedded Fonts on DOCX -- Calibre partially fails, any automated fix?March 30, 2021 at 5:52 PM I'm not sure if it's Word's fault or Calibre's, but here's the problem: if you embed a font in Word (only TrueType and OpenType TrueType fonts are embeddable, not PostScript fonts), then save it as a DOCX, then do a DOCX -> EPUB conversion in Calibre, the font name WILL HAVE SPACES (100% of the time), which makes the EPUB unusable through many outlets.

So my kindle updated to 5.13.4 a couple of weeks ago, and I'm desperate to try kindle break.
I ordered a KOA3 from amazon this morning, but have just noticed that the 5.13.4 update was released in December (I thought it had only been a few weeks).
I will probably cancel the order - I hate not having the book cover for the screen 'saver', but I like pretty much everything else about my current KOA3.

However, this means that each book I've selected is converted and then uploaded separately. The conversion takes a few seconds, the upload takes less than a second, and then it takes about 30 seconds to upload the metadata. If I have 20 books, it tales about 10 minutes altogether.
