Phil Collins review – life-affirming MOR ballads delivered against all odds

Suncorp Stadium, BrisbaneA notable hobble and diminished vocal range don’t detract from an enjoyable night of nostalgia backed by a crowd that have been waiting for this moment all their livesThis is the story of how, against all odds, I learned to love Phil Collins, the Dad of Dad-Rock and the Norm of Normcore. Alternatively: how I found myself dancing like a loon to Su-Su-sudio, one of the most evil earworms of that benighted era – a song which I had valiantly tried to purge from my memory sho...

Suhr Amp Talk :: Reactive Load I.R. Question

Author: se7en Subject: Reactive Load I.R. Question Posted: Sat Jan 19, 2019 10:13 am (GMT -7) Topic Replies: 0 Why was only an 8 ohm input chosen? Why not the ability to have a 16 ohm input so the impedence would be using all the winding in the OT? I know the differences between impedances is subtle, but just curious... Only thing that's holding me back from buying one of these. My Two Notes Studio has 4, 8 and 16 ohm inputs. Thanks.

Why You Should Swap Face Scrubs For Chemical Exfoliators In 2019

In this era of ingredient transparency and plant-based everything, entertaining the idea of chemicals as something you might want in your skin-care routine is like announcing to everyone in the natural beauty section of Sephora that you've been stockpiling mustard gas for the past five years. "Chemical" is a dirty word, a vague, catch-all term for a substance that is bad for you. It's why we switch to aluminum-free deodorants, avoid parabens and phthalates, and flock to brands with well-establi...
