Black Flag/Iain Banks mashup tee

Rogue Print's inaugural tee design for 2020 is a mashup Iain Banks (previously, RIP)/Black Flag tribute available as a baseball tee or a regular one -- both ship with a set of writers as bands stickers. I couldn't stop myself from ordering a Spiderman baseball tee to go with it. (Thanks, Josh!)

Ears Wide Open: Emotional Oranges

Outside of Billie Eilish, no L.A. artist had a bigger 2019 than the duo Emotional Oranges. At this time last year, they’d released just two singles and hadn’t yet played a live show. Now, authors of two long EPs, “The Juice: Vol. I” and “The Juice: Vol. II,” they’ve garnered millions of streams online and toured the world giving sold-out (or nearly so) shows. And in April, they will play Coachella. They’ve done so under the cloak of anonymity — yes, for a year they’ve gotten away with the tired ...

Video: Love Ghost, ‘Let It All Burn’

L.A. rockers Love Ghost have come a long way since we first heard them venting their teenage angst back in 2016. Back then, singer-guitarist Finnegan Bell wasn’t even old enough to drive, let alone vote. And what they lacked in songwriting polish, they made up for in sheer energy. Fast forward to 2019, and the quintet — Bell, along with guitarist Nicky Renard, bassist Ryan Stevens, drummer Samson Young and keyboardist Cory Batchler — has the album “Lobotomy” under their belt, not to mention the ...
