Suhr Guitar Talk :: RE: Thoughts?

Author: Chuckracer Posted: Thu Oct 22, 2020 1:51 pm (GMT -7) Topic Replies: 3 I prefer an SSS Strat visually, just as God and Leo intended but my #1 guitar is an HSS Classic with a 17k SSH+ in the bridge...very hot pickup, I know but it doesn't sound as hot as it is, and it has the push/push bridge tone pot to split the coils, so it's also an 8.5k single coil (roughly). Sounds terrific! I can cover any situation with this guitar. I want more guitars...but don't really have a need.

Suhr Guitar Talk :: RE: Strings, Springs, and Other Things

Author: Chuckracer Posted: Thu Oct 22, 2020 1:44 pm (GMT -7) Topic Replies: 8 5 month follow-up: still loving the Curt Mangan strings. They're nickle plated over a hex core just like lots of others are, but I recently got a Les Paul with new D'Addario XL110's on it and waited two days to change them...couldn't deal with them! And I used to love them!

#TrackoftheDay: “George Romero Will Be At Our Wedding”

ShowbreadUSA (2006) Yet another song where I can’t remember finding it for the live of me, but I was very surprised when I looked up the band and saw they’re a Christian band. I mean…a band that happens to be Christian and not a Christian band, if you get what I mean. I mean…unless they’re saying something about zombie Jesus in this zombie song that I missed. But yeah, I wasn’t expected one of the best and most disturbing and also romantic zombie songs I’ve found in recent memory to ...
