Deuce Ellis – “Midnight Ouroboros” (Album Review)

Deuce Ellis has a really cool origin story. This guys is based out of Honolulu, Hawaii. He draws inspiration from artists ranging between Marvin Gaye & Quincy Jones, to J Dilla, RZA and Pharrell Williams. Today, he dropped his latest project titled “Midnight Ouroboros” a ten track world of art. I feel pretty privileged to get to review this album so early. A definite sta...

Post Malone’s love of Fleet Foxes is well-documented. Why Pianists Know So Little About Their Pianos

“Why are pianists at such a loss when it comes to understanding the mechanics of their own instrument? This lack of knowledge separates them from almost all other instrumentalists. Not only can violinists, clarinetists, harpists or flutists tune their instruments, and even bend pitches in performance, they also, by and large, know much more about how their instruments work.” – The New York Times

Tribulation – “Leviathans”

In the early days of 2018, the excellently theatrical Swedish metal band Tribulation released a truly stomp-ass album called Down Below. As ...
