1 Person Detained After Grass Fire In West Sacramento

WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – One person is under arrest, suspected of intentionally starting a fire in a nature area in the Southport community of West Sacramento. The fire happened in a grassy area near Village Parkway and South River Road. Witnesses told authorities that someone set the fire on purpose. That person was located and detained by police. The fire remains under investigation.
