6 seriously hurt in multi-vehicle crash in Lake Balboa

LAKE BALBOA — Six people were seriously injured Sunday night in a multi-vehicle crash in Lake Balboa, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The crash took place around 7:15 p.m. in the 16900 block of West Strathern Street, fire department spokeswoman Amy Bastman said. The exact number of vehicles involved was unclear, but people were trapped in at least two of the vehicles and needed to be pulled out by firefighters, Bastman said.
