Pedestrian dies when struck by Metrolink train in Baldwin Park

A pedestrian died when he was hit by a Metrolink train in Baldwin Park on Saturday, Dec. 8. The collision happened just after 7:30 p.m. west of Merced Avenue and not at a crossing, Metrolink spokesman Paul Gonzales said. The collision prompted the closure of the tracks in the area. Train 372 on the San Bernardino line, which was due to arrive in downtown San Bernardino about 9 p.m., held at the El Monte station. The train had 196 passengers aboard. A woman and her teenage daughter who were found dead in a Monrovia apartment were strangled, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said Saturday, Dec. 8. 12082018 – Ski

2.2 miles of cross country skiing with the kids at the MN Nordic Opener. No ski passes were required so it was free fun for us!  They had a family touring loop that was pretty good except for a steep uphill at the end! They also had a short demo loop that had a pretty good downhill on it that was a little trickier for the kids!
