Rams try to get on track with wins and Aaron Donald sacks, which go hand in hand

The Rams are fond of saying that turnover margin is the best statistical predictor of wins and losses, but the sack numbers of star defensive lineman Aaron Donald are glaring. The Rams have a 16-0 record, since the start of the 2017 season, when Donald records at least one sack in a game. They’re 5-7 when he doesn’t, and that’s relevant because Donald has been strikingly quiet on the field in the past two weeks, when the Rams suffered losses to Chicago and Philadelphia. Sign up for Home Turf an...

When Tyrone Wallace goes on the attack, the Clippers benefit

LOS ANGELES>> If it seems to you as if games start to tilt the Clippers’ way when Tyrone Wallace is on the floor, that’s just him going downhill. “For whatever reason, whenever he’s on the floor, it’s our highest pace,” Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said. “It was last year and it’s again this year. And it’s the darnedest thing, watching it. I can’t figure what is different, but it is. We get the ball up the floor more, we attack earlier.
