Raiders Overcome Windy, Wintry Weather To Beat Browns 16-6

CLEVELAND (AP/CBS13) — Derek Carr had no idea where his passes were going or what the weather was doing. On the shores of Lake Erie, both were wildly unpredictable Sunday. “It was ridiculous,” said the Las Vegas quarterback. “It rained. It sleeted. It snowed. It was snowing sideways. The wind, who knows what it was?” But the winter-like weather didn’t stop Carr or the Raiders. The Browns didn’t offer them much resistance either. Carr threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow early in the f...

Rams miss Jalen Ramsey’s big-play defense in loss to Miami

Jalen Ramsey might have altered a footnote in NFL history if he’d been there to prevent Tua Tagovailoa’s first touchdown pass. But Ramsey, the Rams’ All-Pro defensive back, missed Sunday’s game against the Dolphins in Miami after waking up ill, the team said. David Long replaced him, and it was Long who couldn’t stop DeVante Parker from catching a 3-yard pass from Tagovailoa that started the Dolphins’ 28-0 scoring run in the Rams’ 28-17 loss. “Jalen brings that energy. He brings that big hit, th...
