Coronavirus: Here’s what tier each California county is in as of Dec. 22

As of Tuesday, Dec. 22, California only has one of its 58 counties in the orange tier (considered moderate risk) and two counties in the red tier (substantial risk), according to the state’s four-tier coronavirus tracking system. There are now 55 counties in the purple tier as of Tuesday’s updates. The same as the previous week.
