Officials said there were 21 new fatalities linked to the coronavirus, for a total 19,904 deaths since tracking began.
There were 156 fewer patients hospitalized in local hospitals, lowing the number of coronavirus-related hospitalizations to 2,213 as of Monday. That’s a 72.7% decrease from the Jan. 7 high of 8,098 people hospitalized.
