LAPD motorcycle officer injured in Canoga Park crash

A Los Angeles police motorcycle officer was injured in a traffic collision Wednesday, April 24, in Canoga Park. The crash was reported just after 3 p.m. on the 6900 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, said Margaret Stewart, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles City Fire Department. 3 people inside Lancaster church robbed of cash

LANCASTER — Three people were robbed of cash inside a church in Lancaster. About 8 p.m. Tuesday, two suspects entered the New Life Fellowship church at 725 E. Ave. J through a rear door, and one of the suspects pulled gun on three people inside, according to Sgt. Layne Arnold of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster Station. The suspects got away with $150, Arnold said. No one was hurt. A detailed description of the suspects was not immediately available.
