An email app developer that's been at odds with Apple says the iPhone maker stonewalled its app update for weeks

Business Insider Intelligence Blix, which has filed a lawsuit against Apple in the past accusing it of infringing on its technology, says Apple delayed approving an update to its BlueMail app for weeks. According to emails reviewed by Business Insider, Apple rejected Blix's app update for not including Apple's "Sign in with Apple" feature, a requirement for apps that offer a sign in option from another service. Since Blix is an email app, it should have been exempt from that rule.  The in...

The shift to distance learning in Asia Pacific

When I was growing up in Serbia, there was only one small school in my village, and we often shared a classroom with the grade above us. The teacher would focus on my classmates and me for a couple of minutes, before turning his attention to the older students on the other side of the room. I can’t imagine how difficult that must have been—but somehow, he made it work, kept our classes fun and engaging, and gave us all the best possible education.I’ve thought about that experience a lot over the...
