Speaking publicly for the first time on Tuesday, President Donald Trump told reporters that "people" believe a speech he gave that incited last week's deadly Capitol insurrection was "totally appropriate."
He also said the push to impeach him over his incitement of the insurrection was "absolutely ridiculous," adding that there was "tremendous anger" over it, though he didn't specify who was angry.
