I tried Huawei's MacBook Air competitor before the company was blacklisted in the US. Here's what it was like to use.

I tried the Huawei MateBook 13 laptop in January, well before Huawei was banned from doing business with US companies.  The MateBook 13 offers great specs for a great price, but a drawback is that it only has two USB-C ports, and no traditional USB ports.  The MateBook 13, astoundingly, does not support Thunderbolt 3, in what could be a major deal-breaker. Regardless, it will be tough to justify MateBook laptops if Huawei is unable to do business with Microsoft — all Huawei laptops run on Wind...

About a week ago, the “a” key on my MacBook Pro broke. Once flat and useful, the poor little guy now looks like a mini ski slope and barely works. Several of my friends have similar keyboard problems on their overpriced laptops. So it felt like a relief earlier today when Apple announced an expansion of Keyboard…Read more...

I've been using Apple products exclusively for 12 years — here are 9 things I realized after giving up Apple for 1 week

I've been completely loyal to Apple products since 2007, when the first iPhone launched. But I recently tried going a week without using any Apple products to see how I would fare. I went to an Apple store for a repair and was shocked by how disorganized its shopping experience has become (AAPL)

Apple's retail stores are all over the world — the international brand ambassador for Apple products.
