Not the Same

For over a year I faithfully walked five miles or more every day as a prayer for my brother. I walked in rain, heat, at night, early in the morning, during curfew in a circle in our courtyard... Differences

I was on the bus the other day when I noticed we were passing the Pompidou Museum so I hopped off at the next stop to walk around a bit. From across the street with its inside out plumbing. And ventilation system. A closeup. There was a lot of renovation going on. I liked this building right up the street-very different from the Pompidou. And this is another Arc de Triumph.

I flew in one of Delta's swankiest business class seats from LA to NYC and it wasn't anywhere near worth the $800 price tag during the pandemic

Flying Delta One on a Delta Air Lines Boeing 767-400. Thomas Pallini/Insider I flew Delta Air Lines from Los Angeles to New York and was upgraded into the exclusive "Delta One" cabin. The brand-new cabin was highly impressive with stylish touches, relaxing mood lighting, and private seats. Delta gutted the in-flight service, however, taking most of the luxury out of business class. See more stories on Insider's business page. Cherry blossoms

This tree is some kind of fruitless, or ornamental, cherry, I think. I'm not at all sure why I think that. Maybe someone told us it was back in the olden days. I don't remember. Whatever it is, it puts on a beautiful pink show every spring around this time. Pretty in pink. I had some dull soreness in my shoulder and back muscles on Saturday that I attribute to Friday's vaccination. A couple of acetaminophen tablets helped. This morning the soreness is gone, after one of the best night's sleep ...
