On 4 June 2020, Rakesh Tikait declared: किसानों की वर्षो पुरानी मांग पूरी हुई : राकेश टिकैत [on] And he raised an implementation issue that the government keep an eye on whether middlemen buy their crops at cheap prices and sell them in other states. Btw, there’s a bogus “fact check” on this report. […]

Oil’s Black Friday: Algos, Options Turn Tumble Into a Crash - Bloomberg video

Oil’s Black Friday: Algos, Options Turn Tumble Into a Crash - Bloomberg Black Friday turned red very quickly for global oil markets. Soggy Saturday

It rained last evening. This morning, the stars and the waning moon shine brightly as gusty winds whirl around us. Everything is wet outdoors. Things you don't see in the field: those barely visible filaments of spider silk. The good news is that, so far, our central heating boiler has not blown out. We'll keep and eye on it through the day, but I'm hopeful that the problem has indeed been fixed. Cross my fingers, spit on the ground! [Author: wcs]

What are the vaccines "highly effective" at doing? They don't work against the virus...

If you want to call me an anti-vaxxer that's okay.  In today's world anyone who refuses to take a Covid-19 injection which has proven to be highly ineffective and potentially dangerous is labelled an "anti-vaxxer" even if they've had every other vaccine ever made.  It's akin to referring to someone refusing highly addictive and dangerous Oxycontin as being anti-pain meds.  But the "safe and effective" messaging has been driven deeply  into so many people's subconcious minds by media that no amou...
