Louisiana Police Apologize for Using ‘The Purge’ Siren to Signal the Start of Coronavirus Curfew

In The Purge, a blaring siren signals the start of violence and mayhem as all crimes — including murder — become legal for 12 hours. So, at a time when the country is especially on edge amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, it’s not a great coincidence when the police of Cr...

Disney Is Making Damn Sure That None Of You Watch An Unauthorized Version Of Samuel L. Jackson Reading 'Stay The Fuck At Home' (techdirt)

Lots of famous folks have been making (often amusing) "Stay Home" public service announcements. One great one showed up last week, in which Samuel L. Jackson read a copy of a new "poem" by Adam Mansbach, the author (a decade ago) of the infamous Go the Fuck to Sleep. This time, it was Stay the Fuck at Home. As with the original, Mansbach wrote it, and they got Samuel L. Jackson to read it -- though it debuted on the Jimmy Kimmel show (filmed with everyone at home, of course). You can see it embe...

Comment on quick pasta and chickpeas by Brittany

Yum! Eating now with my toddler who (with a sprinkle of grated parm) seems pretty happy with it. :) We didn’t do the finishing oil, though, and I added a little splash of milk for some creaminess. Thanks for the recipe. By the way, I used ABC pasta because my grocery doesn’t carry Os…my husband said I need to pick out all the Os so we follow the recipe correctly! :-D
