Report: Bears have ‘been in touch’ with Bengals about Andy Dalton trade

As the Bears look to acquire a veteran quarterback to push Mitch Trubisky, one name that's been thrown around is Andy Dalton. According to The Athletic's Paul Dehner Jr., the Bears have "been in touch" with the Bengals regarding a potential Dalton trade. Dalton comes with a hefty cap hit ($17.5 million) and is only under contract through 2020, but Trubisky being on his rookie deal would help the Bears stomach his salary.

Burrow shows Cincy some love, NFL teams drool over receivers

Who wouldn't want to follow in the footsteps of John Elway and Eli Manning? The Heisman Trophy winner, national champion and consensus No. 1 pick in next month's draft said Tuesday at the NFL scouting combine that he'd have no qualms playing in Cincinnati, which owns the top choice. "Yeah, I'm not going to not play," the LSU star quarterback replied when asked if he would report to the Bengals should they select him No. 1 overall on April 23 in Las Vegas.

Joe Burrow gives a pretty definitive answer to whether he'd play for Bengals

Joe Burrow says he won't pull an Eli Manning (or, for older fans, a John Elway) and refuse to play for the Cincinnati Bengals. The LSU quarterback's desire to play for Cincinnati, which holds the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL draft, has been a topic the past couple weeks. It was a topic because Burrow hadn't clearly stated whether he would be happy to play for the Bengals.

No, Joe Burrow's hand size won't keep him away from Bengals in 2020 NFL Draft

The digits on the projected No. 1 overall pick's hand size were diminutive, but that shouldn't steer Cincinnati away from handing in the card with his name on it.

Report: Bengals willing to work with Andy Dalton on trade

When Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin discussed the team's plans for quarterback Andy Dalton last month, he said the team would not do anything that Dalton is “uncomfortable with” and that they will be in “constant communication” this offseason. The backdrop for those comments is the expectation that the Bengals are going to use the first overall draft pick on a quarterback this April and it appears one of the things they'll be discussing with Dalton is the possibility o...

Joe Burrow’s dad tries to tamp down speculation they don’t want to be Bengals

Jimmy Burrow said he can't figure out where all the chatter about his son not wanting to play for the Bengals is coming from. Even though most of the chatter — which leaves plenty of room between the lines — is coming from the mouths of his son and those around him. The father of the LSU quarterback sent a text to Jeremy Rauch of Fox 19 in Cincinnati disputing the suggestion they didn't want to end up with the Bengals with the first pick.

What Super Bowl LIV taught us about the 2020 NFL draft, and how Bengals, Redskins can benefit

Quarterback Joe Burrow recaptured some of his college magic on Sunday, leading the Cincinnati Bengals back from a 17-7 halftime deficit to deliver his franchise its first ever championship, 28-23, over the Washington Redskins in Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium California. In doing so, the Bengals also became the first NFL team to turn a 2-14 season into a title within two seasons since Joe Montana, Bill Walsh and the 1981 San Francisco 49ers. “He was just Joe being Joe,” Bengals head coach Zac Ta...

The Bengals are poised to use the first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on a quarterback. Former Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer, the first pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, didn't have kind things to say about the franchise during an interview with CBS Sports Radio. “That's why I wanted out: I never felt like the [Bengals'] organization was really trying to win a Super Bowl, and really chasing the Super Bowl,” Palmer said.
