Pechanga Resort Casino near Temecula has swapped out its Lobby Bar & Grill for a new full-service Mexican restaurant that offers traditional dishes from different regions including Oaxaca, Baja California and Estado de Mexico as well as tequilas and mezcals. Pechanga Resort Casino near Temecula announced Friday, May 14, that it will reopen its hotel, spa and 4.5-acre pool complex The Cove to the general public starting Thursday, May 20. All those amenities closed when Pechanga closed on March 16, 2020 due to concerns over the novel coronavirus. When the casino reopened in June, it reopened its gaming floor and many of its restaurants, but the hotel, spa and pool stayed closed to the general public even as its neighboring resorts reopened theirs. San Manuel Band of Mission Indians plans to acquire the Palms in Las Vegas for $650 million

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, the owners of San Manuel Casino in Highland, announced Tuesday, May 4, that the tribe planned to purchase the Palms in Las Vegas. The tribe and the San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority will acquire the 20-year-old casino property for $650 million, according to a news release from current Palms owner Red Rock Resorts. San Manuel Casino reveals expanded gaming area, restaurant and shops opening in July
