One sad day doesn’t change the solid foundation these Huskies have built

Two years ago, the idea of Washington making it to the second round of the NCAA tournament was far-fetched if not outright absurd. Same with it running away with the Pac-12 title or winning 15 straight games at home.

Greg Thybulle – father of Matisse – might be UW’s biggest fan. He’s definitely the loudest.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Greg Thybulle is in constant motion. Always moving, shouting at referees and taunting opposing fans, hugging friends and high-fiving strangers, waving and flailing his arms, pumping his fists and jumping up and down. Just Hop being Hop: Huskies coach Mike Hopkins is as loving as he is bizarre

The second year coach is as likely to plant a kiss on a player's forehead as he is to punt a basketball. It's a strange approach, but it's working.

As the Zags keep getting better, the expectations keep going higher … and they’re justified

Daddy’s Hangout 2019 NCAA Tournament Prediction

It’s that time of year again and that’s March Madness of course. Honestly, this is my favorite time of the year because anything can happen, and it usually does. Coming into the tournament, Duke is the overwhelming favorite and deservedly so. Zion Williamson is the phenom that everyone talked about and then some. In the ACC tournament, he became the first freshman since Kevin Durant to average 30 points and 10 boards in a conference tournament. There are quite a few other teams that have a gre...

Tom Izzo, unhappy with NCAA tournament seeding, takes shots at selection committee

Michigan State won a share of the Big Ten regular season before moving on to win its conference tournament Sunday. It did so while completing a three-game sweep of rival Michigan — its toughest opponent in the conference — and putting together a résumé worthy of consideration for a No. 1 seed. Instead, the NCAA tournament selection committee slated the Spartans with a No. 2 seed.
