Heating Up! Jason Tartick Calls Kaitlyn Bristowe Someone Very Special

Everything happens for a reason. The Bachelorette alum Jason Tartick isn’t upset that he wasn’t chosen to be the 23rd Bachelor because it would’ve prevented him from connecting with a very important person in his life — Kaitlyn Bristowe. Inside Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham’s Romantic Hawaiian Honeymoon: Pics Jason, 30, appeared on Good Morning America with fellow Bachelorette alum Blake Horstmann on Monday, January 21, and said he’s “very thankful” that he wasn’t selected as ...

The Bachelor Season 23, Episode 3 Recap: Stretched For The Very First Time

Welcome to The Bachelor , where exercising in groups in front of a prospective future husband is a fun activity! The Bachelor still isn't quite sure what to do with Colton — is he sexy or is he a nubile, naive virgin? Or is he a tire-throwing monster with need for speed? Or is he just a kind, generic 26-year-old who likes kids? Colton, show thyself! The show itself is less concerned with figuring Colton out than it is overshadowing Colton with far more interesting characters. This episode alone ...

Heather From The Bachelor Has A Real Job —& It Isn't "Never Been Kissed"

Last night, Bachelor Nation watched with baited breath as Heather Martin revealed to Colton Underwood the secret that had been weighing on her for the entire first half of the episode: Like Colton, she is a virgin, but, unlike Colton, she has never kissed anyone.Colton's reaction was sweet (and evoked memories of Becca's reaction to Colton's virginity pronouncement once upon a time). But then came a conundrum: Would Colton change Heather's status from never-been-kissed to has-been-kissed-by-Col...

The Bachelor Season 23, Episode 2 Recap: Billy On The Street, Colton In The Sheets

The Bachelor is constipated. Forgive it! Perhaps the show just had too much protein this season. Not enough fiber! Not enough water! The result is fairly tepid — or just awkward — television. Colton is trying his hardest to be the debonair gentleman, but things are just moving a little slow! To move things along, The Bachelor introduces a few experts in the field of moving things along. Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman, self-declared fans of the franchise, join the fun, livening up the show wit...

Wyatt Earp was a gunfighter, gambler and gung-ho for California

Wyatt Earp died in Los Angeles 90 years ago Jan. 13, 1929. He is famous for his part in the O.K. Corral gunfight in Tombstone, Arizona, but lived most of his life and is buried in California. It wasn’t until after his death that Wyatt Earp was glorified as a gunfighting lawman. During his life, only one film mentioned him by name, and Earp traveled the West mostly as a gambler, brothel owner/bouncer and boxing referee. 1848: Wyatt Earp is born in Monmouth, Illinois. He is the fourth child of N...

The Virgin Bachelor

The trailer for ‘The Bachelor’ is way better with Steve Carell instead of Colton Underwood The 23rd season (“The Jordan Season”) of ‘The Bachelor’ is already upon us, and everyone wants to know one thing; will bachelor Colton Underwood lose his virginity on reality TV? It’s really important for all of us to find this out AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, and preferably the moment he himself finds out - ideally we can all create enough hype around this young man’s sexual discovery to force it to happen...

The Bachelor's Makeup Artist Explains Colton Underwood's $575 Skin Care Routine

Before the world delves into which contestants are there for the "right" reasons, or whether it's harder to compete on reality TV than in the NFL, let's first address the elephant in the room with this season's The Bachelor: Colton Underwood is extremely disciplined . . . with his skincare routine. (Wait, that's where you were going too, right?) This is in part due to good genes, but there's also a beauty godmother - and luckily for us, the show's longtime makeup artist Gina Modica isn't wait...

Is The Bachelor Finally Ready To Acknowledge Its Racist Undertones?

Accusations of racism and The Bachelor go together like a confused hunk and a pile of roses in need of distribution. The Bachelor Nation flagship series has never had a lead of color save for the white-passing Juan Pablo Galavis (who ended up being the villain of his own season). Last year’s Arie Luyendyk Jr.-lead outing dipped into the most eye roll worthy of spicy Latina stereotypes with its depiction of fan-favorite Bibiana Julian. Even Bachelorette lead Rachel Lindsay has accused producers ...

The Bachelor Season 23 Premiere Recap: Like Sloths To A Flame

These days, a good Bachelor is hard to find. Which means that every Bachelor has two missions: To fall in love, and to prove to the viewers that he’s at all ready for that love. I hesitate to say that Colton Underwood isn’t ready for love — who is? — but, from the premiere of The Bachelor season 23, I can say definitively that he’s got a chip on his shoulder about all of this. Colton reads the comments section. He may even comment back. Which, like it or not, is going to make an interesting sea...

AHL Central News: No Shortage of Offense

Wild Plug Along and Remain in First Place The Iowa Wild (14-5-4-2) had just enough offense to remain on top of the Central Division. With each new mass shooting, San Bernardino terror attack victims worry about being ‘forgotten’

Three years after the San Bernardino terror attack left 14 people dead, 22 with gunshot wounds and others suffering from PTSD, many of the victims have settled workers’ compensation claims or taken medical retirement. Few still work for San Bernardino County. Making matters worse, survivors say America’s continuing string of mass shootings has further haunted their lives. Workers’ compensation attorney Geraldine Ly said about 80 percent of her dozen clients who filed claims in the San Bernardino...

Go behind the scenes to learn what it takes to be a casino dealer

By Steve Drumwright Correspondent Tucked into a nondescript corner of Temecula office space, the Jack Black Casino Dealer School hardly looks like a place that produces candidates for jobs that can pull in six figures in the first year. Chicago Blackhawks: One and Won Makes Three

The Chicago Blackhawks have played in five games so far in this young season, and all five contests have gone to overtime. Yes, you are correct if you’re thinking that’s an NHL record. But I’m pretty sure the Hawks don’t care about that. What they do care about is winning. The team came charging out of the gate in their first week of action, securing five of a possible six points. This past week they picked up right where they left off, acquiring three more of a possible four points. And it was ...
