This Is Proof That RoboCop Makes Any Movie Better

We’re not in post-apocalyptic Detroit anymore, Toto Mashups aren’t a new concept and there are a ton of cinematic universes that have combined storylines and characters before. From Freddy VS. Jason to Rugrats Go Wild, crossovers know no bounds and that’s what’s so fun about them. You know who doesn’t make appearances in near enough movies though? RoboCop. Much like the esteemed cowbell, there just isn’t enough RoboCop — until now. ScreenCrush editor-in-chief, Matt Singer, posed this qu...

Goaltenders Jimmy Howard and Jonathan Bernier, who is slated to start against the Blues, have put the Wings on a two-game winning streak, but it’s better for the organization’s draft lottery odds if they start losing again, and the next three opponents — St. Louis, Vegas and San Jose — are all jockeying for playoff positioning. More: Detroit Red Wings extend Jimmy Howard, hope to pay him pl...

Exit Lines: “To Kill a Mockingbird”

There’s been so much drama regarding Aaron Sorkin’s Broadway adaptation of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird that the actual show may get lost in all the headlines. (There’s this, and this, and this.) Once you’ve gotten through all that hubbub, however, book your tickets to what’s become a bonafide theatrical event. It’s excellent. Mostly. Lee’s 1960 novel, the basis of the Oscar-winning 1962 film, needs no introduction. In all the best ways, it plays to Sorkin’s strengths: It’s a courtroom thr...

Best things to do in Tampa, Florida

Going to Florida for vacation has been an American tradition since the invention of air conditioning. But for business? Outside of Latin American finance and quote-unquote “exotic” imports, folks usually didn’t come down this way to do anything that resembled “serious.” But that’s changed in the past couple of decades, and as business in Florida booms so does the number of people who come here for work. Since the sunshine state was a vacation destination to begin with, it’s also the perfect p...
