New study of 2,600-year-old poop suggests Iron Age miners drank beer and ate blue cheese

They found the feces contained microbes consistent with the production of beer and blue cheese. Salt miners were previously thought to mostly eat gruel. EgyptAir Flight MS804 Update: Recovered Human Remains To Be Sent For DNA Analysis

Human remains mapped at the crash site of EgyptAir Flight 804 have been recovered in the Mediterranean, the Egyptian Accident Investigation Committee said Sunday. John Lethbridge, an Egyptian-contracted vessel, recovered the remains and is sailing to Alexandria to hand over them to forensic officials and prosecutors for DNA analysis.

Bluebee lands $11.4 million for cloud-based DNA analysis platform

DNA analytics startup Bluebee has closed a Series A funding round of €10 million (about $11.4 million) from investors Capricorn ICT Arkiv, Korys, and Biover II. Prior backer Buysse & Partners also participated in the round. The Dutch company specialises in genomic analysis and provide cloud-based performance solutions to researchers, labs, and diagnostic companies.
