Knotel is facing claims of $230,000 in unpaid rent and construction bills at one Atlanta location, adding to a growing list of legal woes for the flex-space firm

A tenant in Atlanta that subleased space at the Salesforce Tower to Knotel late last year is suing the firm for over $150,000 in unpaid rent. The tenant also wants to boot the flexible workspace provider from the nearly 25,000 square foot space. A construction contractor, meanwhile, has placed a lien against the building for almost $80,000 it says it is owed by Knotel for work on the space. The debts are the latest to pile on the company, which is said to owe brokerage firms unpaid commissions...

US supreme court gives conservatives the blues but what's really going on?

Donald Trump’s nomination of two justices seemed to have tilted the balance decisively but recent rulings have raised eyebrowsFor all the ominous twists of Donald Trump’s presidency, his placement on the US supreme court of two deeply conservative justices, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, inspired a special kind of foreboding for many liberals. With three conservatives already sitting on the court, the creation by Trump of a seemingly impregnable, five-vote conservative supreme court majority a...

A Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education discussion about the future of its 471-member police department ended in a stalemate Tuesday, after zero of the three proposals for action received majority support from the seven-member body. Becky Lynch Gives Up Title, Sami Zayn Stripped Of Title In WWE’s Wild Week

(CBSNewYork/CBS Local) — What a week. In the span of 72 hours, the Raw Women’s Championship was relinquished, the Intercontinental title was stripped from its champion, and a quarter-century-old pay-per-view was brought back to life. That’s just the start. Title changes in professional wrestling happen all the time. However, what doesn’t happen frequently is a title changing when no match has taken place. Even more rare? That it happens on consecutive days. Becky Lynch relinquished the Raw Women...

Liberals Rewrite History to Justify Their #MeToo Hypocrisy

You can believe whomever you choose in the alleged sexual-misconduct cases of Joe Biden and Brett Kavanaugh, but you can’t revise history to erase your partisan double standards. One of the most egregious examples of revisionism can be found in a column by the New York Times’ Michelle Goldberg, who employs nearly every attack Americans were warned never to use against alleged sexual-assault victims during the Kavanaugh hearings — questioning their motivations, asking why they didn’t file charges,...

As the new decade approached, the thoughts of many turned toward Best of the Decade lists. Adam Goldberg Has Written ‘Goonies 2’ on Spec, Steven Spielberg Explains Why a Sequel Never Happened

Goonies may never say die, but the multiple attempts to make a sequel to Richard Donner’s ’80s kid adventure classic have. When The Goonies hit theaters in 1985, it was a massive box office hit, becoming one of the top ten highest-grossing films of the year and became a classic in the years to follow.
