Evaluating Philippe Myers' NHL debut in Flyers' win over Red Wings

At one point in the third period, Myers (7:59) had more ice time than Shayne Gostisbehere (7:53), but Gordon didn't want to assert any more pressure on the rookie defenseman with a one-goal lead. Myers' last shift came with 8:40 remaining in regulation as he finished with 9:53 TOI, seeing only 1:54 in the third period. Breaking down Myers' shifts: five came with Ivan Provorov, four with Andrew MacDonald, three with Gostisbehere and one with Robert Hägg.

Comment on chocolate puddle cakes by Jessica Powers

Molten cakes were my New Year’s Day request this year (usually it’s cheesecake for breakfast, but we had cheesecake for Christmas, haha). I love that this is for two! our standard is a Nigella base recipe ‘babycakes’ (snort) with a Gordon trick of double buttering the ramekins. But it makes too much/too many cakes! And devours our chocolate stash. This will be perfect. Thank you!

Manchester City: I stopped counting Chelsea: 0 - What the hell was that!!

Mother of god. This time last week I was watching a lioness chew the middle out of a still bleeding zebra and it was less gruesome than this. Someone’s just lobbed their membership card at Rudiger and I was so jet lagged this morning that I went all the way to the north of England and back without any make up on. Oh and I’ve smashed the screen on my phone.  I’m going to approach this abomination in Manchester in the style of Sarri. Instead of making sense and producing a coherent narrati...
