As LA public schools plan for fall, calls grow for improved online learning

As the coronavirus pandemic shows little signs of slowing down, calls are growing for the Los Angeles Unified School District to improve upon a hastily launched system of online learning for the coming academic year. Former LAUSD chief Michelle King to be memorialized Friday, with funeral to follow

Kevon Looney's high school jersey retirement a 'dream come true'

Hamilton High School retired Kevon Looney's No. 5 jersey Thursday in a ceremony on the court where he was a four-year letterman for the Wildcats. Looney is one of the best players of all time to come out of Milwaukee. Looney told the students he graduated with a 3.4 GPA and finished sixth in his class.

Cranston fire containment grows; rebuilding work begins

Work continued Monday in the San Jacinto Mountains to take measure of and repair the extensive damage caused by the Cranston fire, which has burned more than 13,000 acres and destroyed seven homes and five other buildings. Who is Hilary Dattilo? Hamilton Teacher Facing Sex Charges Involving Female Student

A high school teacher in Ohio was charged in connection with having a sexually inappropriate relationship with a student.  The suspect was identified as 30-year-old Hilary Dattilo, who was a teacher and volleyball coach at Hamilton High School before she was charged Tuesday in Butler County Common Pleas Court, as reported by CBS-affiliated television station, WHIO-TV.
