Nearly 270,000 K-12 students are homeless in California, says UCLA study

LOS ANGELES — More than 335 persons experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles left the streets and entered housing since June, according to a report obtained Friday as part of a city and county agreement to provide beds for indigent people under the threat of the coronavirus.
