Shares in British audio startup Audioboom fell on Monday after the firm projected a full-year loss for 2016 and delayed revenue for the final quarter. Il Kaulata Maltia.

Karl Farrugia posts about Il Kaulata Maltia – The only extant copy of the first journal in Maltese for the Asian and African studies blog of the British Library: The turning point in the history of Maltese publications was the liberalisation of the press in 1839, which formally came into force in March of that year following a wider drive for political autonomy in the British colony throughout that decade. The earliest wave of independent newspapers to be published in Malta came on the heels of ...

The Spanish striker merry go round The Premier League may have kicked off this past weekend, but plenty of clubs in the Premier League look very likely to be very busy in the coming weeks. Milo May Not Be Going To CPAC, But Gay Conservatives Won't Forget The Invite

The controversy, like many these days, was ephemeral, but the damage will linger. In less than a day, the organizers of the annual conservative confab CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) booked professional provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos to headline the gathering before rescinding the invitation after video emerged of him seemingly condoning pedophilia. It was a momentary embarrassment for the organization. But for the gay rights activists within the Republican Party, it revived t...

Person's ‘brain speed’ may matter more than other risk factors for geriatric falls

"Why does a 30-year-old hit their foot against the curb in the parking lot and take a half step and recover, whereas a 71-year-old falls and an 82-year-old falls awkwardly and fractures their hip?" asks James Richardson, M.D., professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Center.
