Insurtech company Avinew raises $5 mln in seed

Westlake Village, California-based Avinew, an Insurtech company focused on autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles, announced it has raised $5 million in seed funding. Crosscut Ventures led the round, with additional participation from American Family Ventures, Draper Frontier and RPM Ventures. The company was founded in 2016.
