U.S.-based private equity fund Indigo Partners said it has agreed to invest in low-cost carrier WOW air after Icelandair (ICEAIR.IC) scrapped its plan to buy the privately-held airline. DUBAI (Reuters) – Airbus (AIR.PA) landed a deal for a record 430 of its A320neo-family jets on Wednesday as U.S. investor Bill Franke raised his bet on budget airlines.
